Change Management Manager in Durham, NC
The Manager Change Management will lead largescale business or IT transformations within Labcorp. You will lead agile transformations, cultural change programs, innovation and digitization, and/or organizational redesign programs. You will help guide the organization through these transformation journeys engaging with all levels of the business ensuring the organization is ready for and adopts the change. You will be responsible for developing training strategies and partnering with communications to inform the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and execute change management strategy and frameworks to achieve successful execution of transformational goals and objectives
- Create change management roadmap and lead a structured methodology to support adoption of the changes required by the initiative
- Perform change readiness and cultural assessments
- Successfully navigate a changing organization building support among the leaders and their teams
- Influence a wide range of stakeholders with conflicting priorities
- Develop approaches and strategies for training and managing enablement and delivery
- Partner closely with functional leads to ensure connection to their deliverables and timeline
- Ensure new standard operating procedures are established for consistency in the future
- Foster the involvement of end users to be involved in the change management strategy
- Serve as escalation point for variance issues to internal stakeholders, as appropriate.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of five (5) to eight (8) years relevant experience working in a change management role, preferably in a large, matrixed global organization.
- Experience with change management projects within major business reorganizations or IT transformations
- Strong focus and drive to achieve project goals and objectives
- Analyses complex problems and ability to deliver insightful and practical solutions
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing priorities and to utilize resources effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire effective teamwork and motivate direct and in-direct staff within a large, global matrix system.
- Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills
- High level of motivation and self-starting attitude
- Ability to negotiate and liaise with internal clients in a professional manner
- Ability to present to staff at all levels
EDUCATION
- BA/BS with an emphasis on Business, Human Resources, Psychology and/or economics / management
